Mayoral Candidates Forum, 24 August 2011

The Ogden Ethics Project sponsored a mayoral candidates forum at Union Station on the evening of August 24, 2011, attended by a standing-room-only crowd of over 300 citizens. The eight candidates answered prepared questions for about 50 minutes, followed by about 40 minutes of questions from the audience. The moderator was Kimbal Wheatley, a professional facilitator who lives in Ogden Valley. Besides the formal portion of the forum, candidates also spent considerable time mingling with the public before and after.

For an overview of the eight candidates, you can download a copy of the program that we handed out to attendees. You can read summaries of the forum in the Ogden Standard-Examiner and the Salt Lake Tribune.

Embedded below, in six parts, is full video coverage of the formal portion of the forum.
